Equipment Repair
I have a newer pool. Pool lights went out, and I needed to get them repaired or replaced. Unfortunately the builder, California Pools, would not handle it. This is where we found Don. He was able to diagnose the problem and come up with the solution. He is transparent and reasonable. He knows his stuff. He IS the Pool Pro.

Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our in-ground swimming pool installations below.
We install a wide range of pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, automatic pool cleaners, salt chlorine generators, automation systems, and lighting. Whether you’re looking to upgrade your existing equipment or need new installations, we provide expert service tailored to your needs.
Pool pumps typically last 8 to 12 years, depending on usage and maintenance. If your pump is making unusual noises, not circulating water efficiently, or showing signs of wear, it might be time for a replacement. Regular maintenance can extend the life of your pump, but if it’s nearing the end of its lifespan, upgrading to a more energy-efficient model can save you money in the long run.
Variable speed pool pumps are more energy-efficient than single-speed pumps, reducing your energy costs by up to 90%. They also operate more quietly and allow you to adjust the flow rate for different pool functions, improving filtration and circulation. Additionally, many utilities offer rebates for upgrading to energy-efficient equipment.
Common signs that your pool heater may need repair include inconsistent water temperatures, reduced heating efficiency, or error codes on digital displays. If your heater is over 10 years old and requires frequent repairs, replacing it with a newer, more energy-efficient model might be more cost-effective in the long term.
Regular maintenance is key to extending the lifespan of your pool equipment. This includes routine inspections, timely cleaning or replacement of filters, proper winterization, and keeping water chemistry balanced. Additionally, investing in high-quality, energy-efficient equipment can reduce wear and tear, leading to a longer service life.
